Senior Systems Analyst - Finance

Overview

Nakilat, based in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst specializing in SAP Finance solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing SAP finance service offerings for Nakilat and its affiliated joint ventures. The analyst will lead projects aiming to digitize manual processes by deploying advanced SAP smart technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FSCM and SAP TRM implementation projects and provide ongoing system support and enhancements.
• Support finance, controlling, project systems, and treasury users post-implementation by offering solutions or temporary fixes.
• Assist finance and treasury teams to complete month and year-end procedures such as GR/IR clearing, foreign currency evaluations, settlement of internal orders and projects, allocation of corporate services, and customer and general ledger balance carryforwards.
• Collaborate with SAP ABAP developers on customizations and system enhancements.
• Implement regulatory requirements specific to Qatar, e.g., withholding tax regulations.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis team to establish user permissions ensuring segregation of duties and access restricted to relevant company codes.
• Develop comprehensive SAP training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
• Optimize finance-related operations by proposing and deploying new functional enhancements and streamlined processes.
• Design and configure enhancements, Remote Function Calls (RFCs), and address SAP FSCM/TRM support tickets.
• Contribute to creating business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI and SAP Data Sphere.
• Maintain documentation including RFC logs, project materials, business process descriptions, and configuration guides.
• Work with end-users and departments to diagnose and resolve system issues, documenting problems and remedies thoroughly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Certified expertise in SAP FICO or FSCM modules.
• Minimum 5-7 years of SAP experience with at least 3 years in a similar capacity within comparable sectors.

Key Skills and Technical Expertise

• Deep proficiency in SAP FSCM and SAP TRM modules including all finance sub-modules.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with excellent client interaction skills.
• Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA solutions, BTP, Fiori applications, and system integrations.
• Experienced in business data modeling using SAP Data Sphere.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining dashboards with Power BI and integration with Microsoft technologies.
• Competence in Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Dataflows.
