Role Overview and Location

The position is based in Hinjewadi, Pune, requiring a minimum of four years of experience in automotive application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infotainment systems and software testing frameworks.
• Create flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to define requirements and devise solutions.
• Write robust, maintainable, and testable code.
• Produce detailed specifications and assess operational feasibility.
• Integrate various software components into a cohesive functional system.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure code quality.
• Document and maintain software functionality comprehensively.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems.
• Deploy software and evaluate user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Align development efforts with project plans and industry standards.
• Keep software updated with the latest functionalities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering.
• Between 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in automotive application development.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Hands-on experience with automotive infotainment modules or relevant automotive domain expertise.
• Proficiency in Python 3.8.
• Experience working with Ubuntu 20.04 environment.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks, including plugins and module integration.
• Understanding of hardware setup relevant to system validation in infotainment or automotive features.
• Proficient with version control systems such as Git, Gerrit, and GitLab.
• Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Vector VT system and D-Space platforms.
• Knowledge of CAN and UDP/TCP communication protocols.
• Familiarity with serial and Ethernet communications.
