Senior Product & Visual Designer

Role overview

This contract opportunity is for a seasoned product and visual designer who can make thoughtful, defensible choices across layout, typography, color, and overall UI refinement. The engagement is remote and offers the possibility of broader scope and ongoing collaboration over time.

Key work

• Use advanced visual judgment to shape composition, typographic structure, color use, and the final polish of interface designs.
• Assess and critique design work with clear reasoning tied to product goals and brand direction.
• Help improve and evaluate creative outputs across different product and visual scenarios.
• Work closely with researchers and project leads to strengthen creative systems through hands-on design input.

Candidate profile

The ideal person brings strong experience in both product design and visual design, preferably gained in a respected technology company or design studio. They should have a strong command of typography, layout, color, and UI/UX refinement, along with the ability to explain aesthetic decisions confidently and clearly. A substantial professional portfolio showing craft, range, and design thinking across real product or brand work is essential. Professional-level written and spoken English is required, and the person should be comfortable working as an independent contractor with self-managed time and adaptable project flow.
