Role overview
Virtusa is seeking a Senior Product Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Finacle Core Banking. This role focuses on product-level implementation, customization, interface handling, and close collaboration with clients to support banking technology needs in Dubai.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience working with the Finacle Core Banking product is required.
- You should have practical exposure to Finacle 11, including its product capabilities and customization framework.
- Experience with Finacle interfacing solutions is important, including custom APIs, Product APIs, Connect 24, and Finacle Integrator.
- Direct client-facing experience is necessary.
Technical skills
- Strong understanding of Finacle product architecture and customization layers.
- Ability to work with Finacle customization processes such as custom menus, MRT and Jasper reports, batch jobs, product menu changes, FI, and EOD/BOD processing with debugging.
- Practical knowledge of Oracle technologies used with Finacle, including SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Experience in Finacle scripting, Unix shell scripting, and report creation.
- Good grasp of Finacle Integrator and the kinds of enhancements that can be implemented within it.
Functional skills
- Sound knowledge of Finacle Core Banking functions.
- Strong familiarity with banking concepts and terminology.
- Finacle certification from Infosys will be considered an advantage.
- Exposure to Finacle CRM and admin modules such as FINFADM and SSOADM.
- Ability to follow secure coding, unit testing, and documentation standards.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Responsibility for ensuring the quality of technical architecture and application design across the organization.
- Capability to research and compare technologies against leading industry solutions.
