Senior Planner/Scheduler (PMC)

Overview

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler (PMC) to join various remote project locations across Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading the development and management of project schedules ensuring they meet contract milestones and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules outlining contract milestone targets.
• Create and maintain resource-loaded, comprehensive baseline project schedules.
• Prepare all related project planning documentation including S-curves, histograms, and man-hour/progress data.
• Generate weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Analyze schedule performance, productivity, and critical paths.
• Provide planning and reporting information to the project team.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with company, client, and project QA standards and procedures.
• Regularly update schedules to reflect scope changes, progress, and delivery updates.
• Assist in preparing change notifications by evaluating schedule impact and support re-baselining efforts.
• Collect and distribute deliverables, drawing lists, and updates from various disciplines.
• Ensure project teams remain fully informed about project targets at all times.
• Provide recovery forecasts to the schedule as needed.
• Foster effective relationships within Project Controls and other departments including clients.
• Ensure all planning activities adhere to corporate and project-specific procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant scheduling experience.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 software.
• Familiar with ARAMCO standards and procedures.
• Strong practical experience in planning and scheduling.
• Thorough understanding and application of planning theory, processes, and best practices.
• Ability to develop and maintain performance targets.
• Expert knowledge of project controls and planning tools.
• Competent in spreadsheet and database use.
• Team-oriented with the ability to share ideas across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact with staff at all levels up to senior management.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical, analytical, and literacy skills.
• Well-developed organizational skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
