Job Purpose
The primary objective of this Senior Merchandiser role is to optimize the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products across all assigned outlets. This position also involves conducting in-store sampling sessions and promotions as needed. Adherence to planograms for both on and off-shelf displays is crucial. Any deviations from agreed-upon arrangements must be promptly reported to the pre-seller. Additionally, the merchandiser is responsible for gathering and relaying the latest market intelligence to the pre-seller to capitalize on sales opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Visit designated outlets according to the daily journey plan provided by your supervisor.
- Merchandise Frito Lay products within assigned stores across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
- Install Point of Sale (POS) materials adjacent to Frito Lay displays where appropriate.
- Ensure all display areas are merchandised in accordance with approved planograms.
- Manage product inventory using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and remove any substandard products.
- Maintain the tidiness and freshness of Frito Lay products on shelves at all times.
- Observe and report on competitor activities.
- Document and report any discrepancies from the agreed terms with assigned customers or outlets.
- Submit daily reports on previous day's activities to your supervisor.
- Participate in sampling or redemption campaigns when requested.
- Uphold appropriate personal appearance and professional conduct in line with the Frito Lay code of conduct.
