Role Purpose
The Senior Manager of Workforce Management will be responsible for planning, allocating, and optimizing workforce resources to ensure adequate staffing and scheduling that aligns with operational demands. This role aims to improve overall workforce performance, efficiency, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement workforce planning strategies ensuring suitable employee numbers with the necessary skills meet operational needs.
- Supervise shift scheduling to maintain adequate coverage while controlling labor costs.
- Define and monitor workforce management KPIs, analyze staffing efficiency and performance.
- Identify areas requiring improvement through performance metric analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor the workforce management team, facilitating necessary training and development.
- Coordinate with IT teams to deploy and enhance workforce management technological solutions.
- Contribute to the development and execution of divisional Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Action Business Commitments (ABCs), ensuring functional alignment.
- Make critical strategic and tactical decisions supporting divisional goals.
- Develop and execute functional team plans and delegate tasks to build leadership pipelines and succession readiness.
- Regularly track divisional OKRs and performance metrics, taking corrective measures as needed.
- Set performance targets, support and evaluate team members, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Engage in recruitment activities to attract key talents.
- Direct task prioritization, responsibility assignment, and workflow monitoring.
- Encourage team involvement in continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Manage budgeting cycles, contribute to budget planning, and ensure effective budget utilization with reporting on progress and challenges.
- Develop strategies to improve financial outcomes and mitigate operational risks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures ensuring consistent operational control.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement to boost efficiency and foster a culture of high performance aligned with company values.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related disciplines is required.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
