Role Purpose

The Senior Manager – Watersports will lead and direct all watersports programs under WAMA across Red Sea Global locations. This leadership position involves managing a diverse range of watersports activities including sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, kayaking, and foiling. Ensuring operational excellence, safety, innovation, and premium guest experiences are central to this role. Additionally, this position drives commercial success, embeds brand standards, and supports sustainable practices while advancing RSSE's reputation as a premier global watersports operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategic outlook for watersports operations across assigned destinations, promoting development, diversification, and innovation.
• Manage daily watersports operations ensuring readiness in staffing, equipment, and site conditions while enforcing safety protocols and operational controls.
• Lead, mentor, and build a proficient team with structured training, certification, and performance management systems.
• Develop innovative watersports programming to boost guest participation and integrate services with broader destination offerings.
• Drive revenue growth through effective programming, pricing strategies, and exceptional guest service aligned with luxury standards.
• Maintain highest health and safety standards, comply with international watersports regulations, and foster environmental stewardship.
• Oversee equipment lifecycle management and ensure assets meet safety and quality requirements.
• Analyze operational metrics and guest feedback to identify and implement continuous improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or related fields preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in watersports operations, instruction, or resort management.
• Proficiency across multiple watersports disciplines such as sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, kayaking, and foiling.
• Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams within luxury or high-end environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in guest experience management and commercial performance.
• RYA Senior Instructor certification or equivalent mandatory; RYA Powerboat Level 2 or higher preferred.
