Role Overview

As a Senior Manager of Business Operations based in the United States and working remotely, you will play a crucial leadership role in scaling and guiding our Business Operations team. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations and Partnerships, you will blend strategic planning with hands-on execution, accountable for delivering results and outcomes, not solely processes.

Within Porch Consumer Services, a division dedicated to simplifying the moving and home settlement experience, our platform supports millions of moves annually under brands like MovingPlace and HireAHelper. Our vision is to create an all-encompassing moving journey powered by smart technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives, from conceptualization to launch and growth of new products and services.
• Develop data-driven strategies that consider business objectives, constraints, and market conditions.
• Gain in-depth understanding of customers, service providers, and partners to shape prioritization and strategic direction.
• Collaborate closely with departments including Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, Finance, and Legal to align goals, resolve challenges, and expedite progress.
• Implement and manage the division’s operational rhythm, including annual planning, quarterly reviews, and ongoing performance tracking.
• Facilitate prioritization and resource allocation to focus on high-value opportunities.
• Promote the use of dashboards and performance metrics to inform stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
• Support leadership in preparing for executive and board meetings by ensuring clear and confident presentations.
• Participate as a member of Porch Consumer Services’ leadership team, contributing to organizational growth and governance.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years' experience in strategy or business operations, especially within high-growth startups or technology firms.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects from strategy through implementation, producing quantifiable outcomes.
• Strong initiative and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments focusing on results over process.
• Excellent communication skills with executive presence to align varied stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in establishing internal operational routines such as business reviews, strategic planning, and reporting frameworks.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities to turn insights into practical recommendations.
• Familiarity leveraging AI tools to enhance research, analysis, automation, and communication tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a salary range of $138,800 to $194,300 annually based on experience, skills, and location. Additional benefits include eligibility for long-term incentives, annual performance bonuses, and a comprehensive health and wellness package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) with employer match, and various wellness and employee assistance programs.
