Job Overview
FX seeks a seasoned Senior Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Development. This role demands meticulous scheduling, accurate tracking of incoming scripts and creative materials, and managing high volumes of confidential communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings, manage phone communications, arrange travel, process expense reports, and perform diverse administrative duties to support the EVP of Development.
- Systematically log and maintain records of incoming written and visual submissions including scripts, cuts, and outlines, ensuring precise tracking.
- Act as a key liaison between departments, communicating show details confidentially to talent agents and internal collaborators.
- Extend support to other executives and the department by organizing studio meetings, updating records, and researching potential properties for series development.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience with a talent agency, production company, studio, or network, possessing a solid understanding of the entertainment industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills combined with a cooperative work attitude, capable of engaging professionally with senior leaders, talent, and their representatives.
- Highly organized and resourceful with strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Skilled in timely and proper delegation and management of tasks.
- Maintains utmost confidentiality, sound judgment, and integrity in handling sensitive documents and information.
- Strong analytic capabilities to assess scripts and creative materials relevant to developmental projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience supporting senior executives at the SVP level or higher.
- Passion for and understanding of the entertainment and media landscape.
- Possession of an undergraduate degree.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range is $65,272 to $87,560 for a standard 40-hour work week, with actual hours and pay potentially varying according to business requirements and candidate qualifications. Compensation may include bonus and/or long-term incentive units alongside a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, financial, and additional perks.
