Senior DevOps Engineer with Python Expertise

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer proficient in core DevOps practices, AWS cloud services, and programming in Python or GoLang to strengthen our team. The position is a contractual role based in Bangalore; no relocation assistance is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable, dependable infrastructure on AWS cloud.
• Create and manage automation pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Build, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized applications.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code strategies with Terraform or CloudFormation to achieve consistent environment setups.
• Develop automation scripts and system task workflows employing Python or GoLang.
• Work collaboratively with development teams and Site Reliability Engineers to design robust and scalable system solutions.
• Use monitoring and observability platforms including Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure optimal system performance and promptly resolve issues.

Requirements

• Minimum six years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and related DevOps responsibilities.
• Strong programming skills in Python or GoLang for scripting and automation.
• Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure services and cloud architecture principles.
• Expertise in continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience using observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana to monitor applications and infrastructure.

Education & Eligibility
