About the Role
Join a cutting-edge Software Engineering team supporting Milwaukee Tool, a global frontrunner renowned for innovation and superior quality. The position of Senior AI Developer involves leading the design, development, and upkeep of AI-driven platforms, bespoke AI agents, and enterprise-grade software aligned with Milwaukee Tool's digital transformation objectives. Embedded within an Agile environment, you will utilize Oracle AI Studio, cloud technologies, and contemporary software engineering methods to create smart, scalable, and secure solutions vital to the business, while promoting excellence throughout the development lifecycle.
Location: Hyderabad & Bangalore (applications encouraged from candidates residing in these cities)
Key Responsibilities
- Create and sustain personalized AI agents leveraging Oracle AI Studio.
- Develop enterprise applications with Oracle Cloud tools including Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle APEX, and platforms like Microsoft Azure.
- Construct intelligent solutions utilizing Oracle AI suite, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher, VBCS, and APEX.
- Engineer scalable developer platforms, automation workflows, and cloud-native infrastructures.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives within the software team.
- Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into quality technical deliverables.
- Develop and integrate applications using Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, REST APIs, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for efficient software release cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform and application issues, ensuring permanent fixes.
- Enforce software engineering standards, coding quality, security, and best practices throughout the SDLC.
- Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to platform enhancements and innovation initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers by imparting technical knowledge and best engineering practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI, cloud, and developer platform technologies to boost engineering efficiency and platform stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Software or Platform Engineering roles.
- Proven expertise developing and deploying AI solutions using Oracle AI Studio or comparative AI frameworks.
- Strong background in building enterprise applications with Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle REST APIs, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments.
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipeline implementation and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Deep knowledge of software engineering principles, coding standards, and scalable system design.
- Experienced in architecting enterprise-level applications and software solutions.
- Track record of leading tech projects from ideation to production release.
- Practical experience with AI development using Python and machine learning technologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile frameworks, and engineering best practices.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Development of intelligent apps using Oracle AI Studio and Oracle Cloud tech stack.
- Familiarity with Oracle VBCS, APEX, OIC, and BI Publisher platforms.
- Using developer tools such as Spacelift, GitHub, and Datadog for platform management.
- Understanding Developer Experience (DevEx) metrics and initiatives to increase engineering efficiency.
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible and secure AI development practices.
- Robust skills in systems architecture, platform engineering, and workflow optimization.
- Proficient in SQL, relational databases, object-oriented programming, and version control systems.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
