Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to become an integral part of our team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial analysis and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and evaluate financial statements and reports.
• Manage closing procedures for both month-end and year-end periods.
• Perform account reconciliations to guarantee financial accuracy.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and conducting financial analyses.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and local regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors and facilitate audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in accounting.
• Proficient knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and ERP software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Professional accounting certifications such as SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are desirable.
• Strong analytical reasoning and effective communication abilities.
