Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor responsible for overseeing all security operations, ensuring compliance with policies, and coordinating with military or government authorities where necessary. This role demands strong leadership in managing security staff and implementing effective security protocols to protect personnel and property.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise security staff to guard premises and personnel effectively, including inspecting access points and patrol duties.
- Conduct regular security patrols, including night shifts on rotation.
- Authorize entry based on approved gate passes and documentation, collaborating with the Security Document Controller for approvals.
- Prevent losses and report any irregularities, enforce policies and procedures among personnel.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, including interviews, observations, and surveillance records.
- Maintain logs of alarms, incidents, and complaints clearly and accurately.
- Ensure safety and well-being of personnel and protection of property at all times.
- Comply with company operational standards and local regulations.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and assist official authorities as needed.
- Participate in property patrols and investigations of incidents.
- Evaluate the performance of security personnel periodically and implement improvements.
- Maintain hazard-free premises and support development of preventive security measures.
- Deliver excellent customer service while safeguarding organizational reputation and legal compliance.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed high school or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Military experience is advantageous.
- Essential certifications include SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Authority) and DPS (Department of Protective System).
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years as a Security Supervisor within a similar corporate structure or luxury hotels rated 5-6 stars.
- Proficient in safety and security awareness protocols.
- Certified first aider, fire training, and bomb threat training certificates.
- Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office software.
