Position Overview

The School Bus Driver position is a full-time, on-site role located in Doha, Qatar. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school as well as other related events. Daily duties include operating school buses on designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and internal safety policies. The driver will conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips, assist students with boarding and disembarking, maintain orderliness on the bus, and report any incidents or mechanical concerns promptly.

Effective communication with school personnel and families is essential, along with keeping precise records of routes and schedules. The role demands contributing to a positive and respectful atmosphere for all passengers.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven proficiency in vehicle operation, preferably including truck driving experience and possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or equivalent as mandated in Qatar.
• Demonstrated ability in safe driving practices, including defensive driving and thorough knowledge of relevant traffic rules.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with excellent customer service capabilities when interacting with students, school staff, and parents.
• Prior experience as a school bus or commercial driver is advantageous; a clean driving record and history of safety compliance are expected.
• Willingness and capability to work full-time, follow fixed schedules, and manage early morning and afternoon shift hours.
• Familiarity with Doha local routes or readiness to quickly learn them.
• Basic English language skills are required; additional language knowledge is beneficial.
• Ability to clear necessary background verifications, medical fitness assessments, and company-specific training programs.
