Position Overview

The role of SAP VIM Senior Consultant focuses on leading the design, deployment, enhancement, and ongoing support of the OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solution integrated with SAP S/4HANA. The position drives end-to-end invoice processing improvements, workflow automation, accounts payable process optimization, and continuous production support within the AP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Lead discussions on SAP VIM and OpenText solution designs.
Configure and upgrade modules including VIM Workplace, VIM Analytics, Capture Validation, Document Processing, Invoice Approval Workflows, Exception Management, OCR Processing, and Archive Management.
Develop invoice processing solutions for both PO and Non-PO invoices.
Support and improve 2-way and 3-way invoice matching workflows.
Establish invoice routing and approval processes.
Maintain compliance with SAP Clean Core principles.

Qualifications and Experience

Over 8 years of SAP experience, with at least 4 years specializing in OpenText VIM implementations.
Hands-on experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with Accounts Payable and invoice processing modules.
Strong configuration skills in VIM Workplace, VIM Analytics, and Capture Validation.
Comprehensive understanding of PO and Non-PO invoice handling, 2-way/3-way matching, and exception processes.
Expertise designing invoice approval workflows and OCR document capture techniques.
Familiarity with SAP Clean Core approaches and side-by-side extensibility.
Ability to lead fit-gap analysis workshops with finance and accounts payable stakeholders.
Excellent independent communication skills accommodating cross-time zone collaboration.

Preferred Additional Skills

Certification in OpenText VIM.
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications related to Accounts Payable.
Knowledge of Archive Management and third-party OCR software tools.

Engagement Details

Contract tenure: 1 year, with possibility of extension.
Fully remote work setting.
