SAP SD with Vistex Consultant

Role Overview

This position is for an experienced SAP consultant who will handle end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash assignments with a focus on Sales and Distribution along with Vistex-related work. The role is based in Kolkata, India and involves contributing across the full project lifecycle, from blueprinting through post-production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive complete SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash and SD implementations and enhancements, covering blueprinting, system configuration, testing, deployment, hypercare, and support after go-live.
• Run fit-gap assessments and functional workshops, collect business needs, and translate them into solution designs.
• Set up SD processes such as sales order processing, pricing, billing, credit control, and links with MM and FI.
• Write functional specifications for RICEFW items and work with technical teams on enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, while also assisting with issue diagnosis and resolution.
• Create and deliver training sessions for end users, prepare user documentation, and support knowledge handover.
• Support data migration, cutover planning, go-live execution, and stabilization activities after launch.
• Make sure SAP solutions align with business procedures and established best practices.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and handle functional incidents quickly and effectively.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a similar discipline is required.
• At least 8 years of SAP experience, including S/4HANA Order-to-Cash implementations.
• Strong practical knowledge of SD configuration, especially pricing, billing, and credit management.
• Ability to perform gap analysis, lead workshops, prepare functional documentation, and work across SD, MM, and FI integrations.
• Demonstrated experience delivering full-cycle S/4HANA projects, including at least two end-to-end implementations.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and global teams.

Preferred Profile

• Certification in SAP S/4HANA or Fiori is preferred.
• Prior exposure to Agile or Activate delivery methods will be an advantage.
• Experience with advanced pricing, rebate handling, and credit management is desirable.
