SAP ABAP Developer with UI5 and OData Expertise

About the Role

We are looking for a proficient SAP ABAP Developer with specialized experience in UI5 and OData technologies to join our team. This position demands hands-on expertise in ABAP along with UI5 and OData implementations to design scalable and robust software solutions. Candidates will have the opportunity to work at our Bangalore (EC phase2, ITPL Whitefield) or Hyderabad (Hitech City) office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ABAP-based software applications adhering to specified project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deliver new features.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and give feedback to enhance team code quality.
• Diagnose and resolve software bugs and optimize performance issues.
• Engage actively in the entire software development process, from gathering requirements to deployment.
• Document technical processes, code updates, and software specifications comprehensively.
• Keep abreast of emerging industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development efforts.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• Strong command of ABAP development with 5 to 10 years of total IT experience.
• Experienced with SAP modules integration and proficient in writing efficient, maintainable code.
• Familiar with database management practices and SQL.
• Understanding of fundamental software development principles and methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to additional programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
• Experience using version control systems like Git.
• Awareness of cloud platforms and related services.

Educational and Other Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Any graduate degree.
• Notice period: Immediate up to 15 days.
• Interview Process: Single face-to-face round (no virtual interviews).
• Location options: Bangalore or Hyderabad.
