Role Overview
- Collect water, wastewater, and sludge samples at various sites, following established methods, and meticulously document sample information using designated forms.
- Operate company vehicles to facilitate sampling activities and transport personnel, materials, and equipment, ensuring adherence to road safety and traffic laws.
- Transport collected samples to QuantiLAB following instructions and accurately log all related data.
- Perform minor maintenance on the company vehicle, including basic repairs such as changing tires, fixing punctures, using diagnostic tools like tyre gauges, cleaning ignition components, and resolving simple lighting or ignition faults to maintain safe operation.
- Maintain a detailed vehicle logbook recording all trips conducted.
- Strictly follow health and safety protocols during sampling, driving, and laboratory work.
- Execute official errands such as dispatching correspondences, ensuring proper delivery and receipt acknowledgment in dispatch records.
- Document sampling data and related operations, including procedures used, sample identification, environmental conditions, and utilize diagrams or similar means for pinpointing sampling locations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Holder of a valid and clean driving license.
- Possession of School Certificate or Higher School Certificate.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to work during irregular hours and on public holidays.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in work conduct.
- Keen attention to detail and the capability to accurately follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
