Role Overview
As a Sales Manager based remotely in Brazil, your primary responsibility will be to advance sales initiatives, cultivate strategic partnerships, and broaden the company's client portfolio within your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets and enhance market presence.
- Identify, approach, and onboard new partners such as tour operators, travel agencies, travel management firms, and online travel agencies (OTAs), providing comprehensive training on our systems.
- Forge and maintain strong, durable relationships with new partners.
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and ensure proper documentation and technical integration.
- Manage partner accounts through to initial purchase completion.
- Ensure compliance with commercial terms and oversee payment processes with partners.
- Dedicate approximately half of working hours to travel for client meetings, industry events, and related business activities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.
- Maintain thorough reporting using CRM and internal platforms.
- Initiate API-related agreements with existing and prospective partners.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years of proven success in sales management or business development within the B2B travel industry.
- Deep familiarity with the Brazilian travel market and its B2B networks, including tour operators and OTAs.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a comfort and reliance on data-driven, metric-focused decision-making.
- Proactive, ambitious, results-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for innovative technologies and adaptability to rapid changes.
- Team-oriented with an international perspective to navigate diverse cultural environments.
- Experience with API technology deals is beneficial.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in Brazil independently as visa sponsorship is not available.
