About the Role
New Relic is a global observability leader helping technology teams understand and improve complex digital systems. This opening is for a motivated sales professional to join the Singapore team and contribute to pipeline growth across the region.
Role Overview
In this position, you will act as a key prospecting resource for the business development function, working closely with Account Executives to identify, engage, and qualify potential customers across ASEAN. The role is suited to someone who enjoys outbound selling, building relationships, and turning early interest into meaningful sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive outbound prospecting across ASEAN using targeted calls, personalized email outreach, and social selling methods.
- Identify customer challenges and explain how New Relic’s platform addresses technical and business pain points.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to map target accounts, find decision-makers, and design effective outreach plans.
- Maintain, develop, and expand the prospect pipeline so that interest moves into qualified meetings and opportunities.
- Deliver strong performance against daily, weekly, and monthly goals for meetings booked and pipeline contribution.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is persistent, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-moving sales environment. Strong communication skills are essential, especially the ability to present technical value in a simple and engaging way. Candidates should be enthusiastic about technology and the pace of growth in a global software company.
Preferred Background
Fluency in English is required, and an additional language such as Korean or Thai is preferred to support broader territory coverage. Prior success in selling software or SaaS products to companies in ASEAN is a plus, along with familiarity with sales engagement tools and CRM platforms. Understanding of concepts such as APM, cloud, and microservices will be helpful.
