About Decagon
Decagon leads the conversational AI industry, enabling brands to deliver premium concierge-level customer service. Our innovative platform empowers prominent enterprises such as Avis Budget Group, Block's Cash App and Square, Chime, Oura Health, Hunter Douglas, Hertz, and Notion to deploy AI-powered agents that deliver personalized, engaging interactions across channels including voice, chat, email, and SMS.
We envision transforming customer service by moving beyond traditional support tickets and wait times toward faster, richer, and more meaningful conversations and relationships. Supported by top-tier investors like a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures, we are dedicated to advancing this vision. As an in-office organization, we prioritize excellence, speed, and collaboration, guided by our core values: Just Get It Done, Invent What Customers Want, Winner’s Mindset, and The Polymath Principle.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Go-To-Market team in EMEA. This role focuses on expanding our customer base by identifying and qualifying new sales leads for our cutting-edge AI platform.
Unlike high-volume transactional outreach, our SDRs engage in complex, multi-stakeholder Enterprise and Strategic sales cycles, interacting with technical teams, operations personnel, and executives. You will gain experience navigating sophisticated buyer groups, conducting account-based outreach, and effectively communicating AI-driven solutions to achieve tangible business impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new sales prospects through a blend of inbound lead qualification and deliberate outbound outreach.
- Conduct strategic, multi-channel communication across phone, email, and social platforms.
- Expand the sales pipeline via targeted, account-specific campaigns.
- Perform in-depth company research, map decision-makers, and recognize both technical users and executive influencers.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to craft account strategies and build strong Enterprise pipelines.
- Work alongside Marketing to ensure messaging and campaign alignment.
- Keep abreast of our product features, competitor landscape, and GenAI market developments.
- Develop crucial sales competencies such as discovery, cold calling, objection management, communicating business value, stakeholder identification, and prioritization skills.
Candidate Profile
Prospective candidates should have a strong interest in progressing within customer-facing sales roles, excellent communication abilities, and a curiosity about customer challenges. A commitment to daily performance improvement and an entrepreneurial, self-driven attitude are key.
Desirable qualifications include 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing or quota-driven roles, familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, ongoing engagement with AI trends, technology experience, and fluency in French, German, or Spanish alongside English.
Location and Work Model
This position is based at our King’s Cross office in London. As an in-office role, the position benefits from proximity to the team for live coaching and collaboration essential to our collective success.
