Sales Business Development Manager

Role Overview

A prominent Japanese satellite operator is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to expand their team. The position involves driving sales and marketing efforts for satellite services, particularly focusing on earth observation, as well as fostering new business streams in the satellite sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales and marketing initiatives for satellite services including satellite communication and earth observation.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities specifically within the earth observation domain.
• Conduct detailed market research to gather intelligence on the earth observation industry.
• Engage in networking activities with government bodies to enhance business relations.
• Provide support in merger, acquisition, and investment activities relevant to the satellite business.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of five years' professional experience in the earth observation sector.
• Possession of a relevant degree qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive working style.
• Willingness and ability to travel overseas frequently, roughly 2 to 3 times monthly, primarily within the Asia-Pacific region.
