Safety Engineer

Overview

Nesma United Industries is seeking a competent Safety Engineer to enhance the health, safety, and environment standards at our Yanbu, Al Madinah facility in Saudi Arabia. This role involves ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and supporting organizational safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all HSE policies, procedures, and client-specific requirements.
• Perform site inspections, conduct risk evaluations, and carry out safety audits.
• Investigate workplace incidents thoroughly and suggest effective corrective measures.
• Deliver safety inductions, conduct toolbox talks, and lead sessions to raise HSE awareness.
• Supervise contractor compliance and manage HSE-related documentation and reporting.
• Assist in emergency preparedness planning and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Safety Engineer.
• HSE certification such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent is mandatory.
• Registration with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere within Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in English communication skills essential.
