Role Overview
This full-time, permanent or contract position based in Richmond Hill, ON offers a rewarding career path in the non-profit sector with growth potential up to senior management roles. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the organization's expansion by increasing donor involvement and managing the rapidly growing sadaqa boxes and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all operational functions of the sadaqa boxes program, including preparation, locking, and logging boxes into the document management system (DMS).
- Coordinate the distribution and collection of sadaqa boxes among donors, including commercial partners.
- Open collected boxes, count and log donations accurately, issue receipts, and deposit funds into the bank.
- Engage with donors through phone calls and respond to inquiries related to sadaqa boxes and donations.
- Maintain inventory levels, dispatch boxes to alternate locations, and follow up on collections after distribution.
- Prepare monthly reports for management to track department performance and budget adherence.
- Develop innovative strategies to enhance distribution of sadaqa boxes.
- Handle office logistics such as organizing storage spaces, moving items within the office or to public storage, and managing office errands including purchasing and shipping.
- Coordinate loading, transport, and setup of sadaqa boxes and event equipment for events.
- Maintain office vehicle usage, schedule maintenance, and manage donation pick-ups from donors as required.

Requirements
- Post-secondary education, preferably in business administration, communications, or related fields.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in administration or office management.
- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Proven leadership capability and adaptability to change.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at collaborating with diverse stakeholders including staff and clients.
- Ability to foster teamwork and strong interpersonal relations.
