Job Summary

The Route Driver is responsible for operating a company vehicle on a designated route to deliver products, service vending machines, and maintain inventory accuracy. Acting as the company's representative, the driver must maintain a professional and positive presence while fostering strong client and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure vending machines are stocked with appropriate inventory and maintain product freshness through proper rotation.
• Deliver products efficiently on an established route and maintain equipment functionality.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs, informing them of new products or promotions, and resolving service-related complaints.
• Set up merchandise and promotional displays at client sites.
• Manage and account for all goods received, delivery documents, cash collected, and products handled.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years driving experience.
• Possession of a valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license (or state-specific equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Customer service experience preferred, ideally 1-2 years, or at least one year of related work experience.
• Ability to learn and operate handheld computers and material handling equipment such as box trucks and handcarts.
• Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds regularly and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly without supervision for the majority of the workday.

Schedule and Location

The role is based at Hyundai - 700 Hyundai Boulevard, Montgomery, AL 36105. This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week, with possible variations in days and hours to be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation

Hourly pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.00. Additional benefits include free meals, uniforms with laundering services at selected locations, and eligibility for an internal employee referral bonus.
