Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and assess dietetic services within designated acute care areas, managing a specific caseload.
• Collaborate closely with senior dietitians as an integral multi-disciplinary team member.
• Deliver high-quality dietetic advice to inpatients and outpatients.
• Conduct nutritional assessments considering complex or chronic clinical diagnoses to develop, monitor, and document treatment autonomously.
• Provide tailored dietetic education and training for multidisciplinary teams, students, healthcare professionals, patients, and carers.
• Participate in departmental committees such as student training, catering, clinical governance, and diet sheet reviews.
• Supervise students and contribute to clinical supervision duties.
• Offer dietetic support and cover as required by the team.
