This temporary onsite position in Nelson, New Zealand is focused on delivering a smooth, accurate, and welcoming checkout experience. The role is part of Woolworths Group’s supermarket network in Aotearoa, supporting customers with fast service and a friendly approach while following store standards and policies.

Key duties
In this role, you will scan and pack items accurately, keep queues moving, and process refunds in a polite and professional way. You will help customers with queries, step in to escalate issues when needed, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. The position also includes support with cash office tasks such as banking, reconciliations, and checking variances. You will be expected to keep the checkout area tidy, organised, safe, and compliant with uniform and safety requirements, while sharing ideas to improve service.
