Overview
We are seeking a trustworthy, detail-focused Cleaner to maintain residential rental properties through comprehensive cleaning services including move-in, move-out, rental turnover, and property readiness tasks. Our client specializes in managing residential rental units, assisting property owners, tenants, and internal teams with leasing, maintenance coordination, inspections, and all facets of property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to residential rental properties to conduct cleaning appointments and prepare properties for rental transitions.
- Perform thorough general cleaning according to company benchmarks in kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and other areas.
- Clean appliances internally and externally (fridges, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, dryers) as required.
- Eliminate dust, dirt, garbage, and residual items, ensuring all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are spotless.
- Document complete cleaning with clear before-and-after photos and videos, and submit detailed reports after each visit.
- Identify and report property issues such as damage, maintenance needs, junk removal, pest concerns, or unsafe conditions for timely follow-up.
- Maintain professional communication with property owners, tenants when applicable, and internal teams.
- Adhere closely to cleaning checklists, appointment details, and property access instructions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, or residential cleaning contractor with strong knowledge of residential cleaning standards.
- Reliable access to transportation for traveling to various property locations.
- Must have own cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
- Possession of a smartphone with a high-quality camera (e.g., iPhone 13 or equivalent) for documenting work.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, deliver punctual and reliable service, and maintain professionalism.
- Competence in taking clear notes and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
- Familiarity with preparing properties for showings, inspections, and turnovers.
- Capability to identify property damage, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access difficulties, and unsafe situations.
- Previous independent fieldwork experience within property management, cleaning, maintenance, or home services industries.
