MB Century Ltd is a leading company specializing in drilling, reservoir services, hydro and geothermal power station refurbishment, specialist fabrication, machining, and industrial coatings. We are expanding and seeking motivated individuals who are hands-on and practical to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview
As a Reservoir Engineering Technician, you will operate across geothermal sites in New Zealand's Central North Island. Your focus will be using specialized wireline equipment to analyze subsurface conditions. This role offers variety with no two days alike, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to develop expertise using cutting-edge industry technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and dismantle wireline equipment safely and efficiently.
- Deploy precision downhole instruments in geothermal wells for analysis.
- Maintain, inspect, and repair operational equipment and vehicles to ensure reliability.
- Operate wireline service vehicles responsibly across field sites.
- Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate effectively with team members in field environments.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates mechanical aptitude or has practical hands-on experience.
- Enjoys outdoor work environments and is physically fit for demanding tasks.
- Shows reliability, motivation, and a strong willingness to learn new skills.
- Values teamwork, safety, and quality performance in all activities.
- Possesses or is able to acquire a full Class 1 driver's license; Class 2 and 4 licenses are advantageous.
- Flexible regarding working hours and open to occasional travel within the region.
