Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Data Analyst I to join our Performance & Analytics team. This position is ideal for early-career individuals eager to expand their data analytics capabilities. Collaborating closely with the Associate Director, you will translate complex datasets into actionable insights through dashboard creation, report generation, data validation, and operational support to enhance business understanding. This role provides a dynamic environment to develop your analytics expertise while contributing directly to organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support development of recurring performance reports, delivering timely insights via daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards.
• Design and maintain dashboards and scorecards using BI tools to monitor crucial metrics including operational efficiency, contract adherence, and clinical quality indicators.
• Retrieve, validate, and ensure data integrity from multiple systems prior to stakeholder reporting.
• Assist in generating clinical performance reports focused on medication adherence, post-discharge visits, care gaps, and quality standards like HEDIS and Stars.
• Analyze data inconsistencies, trends, and missed targets to identify root causes and recommend improvements enhancing data accuracy and reliability.
• Support workflows and data properties that facilitate operational reporting processes.
• Maintain data quality and consistency to guarantee accurate dashboard outputs.
• Adapt to evolving priorities by addressing new report requirements, initiatives, and program launches.
• Own at least one report or dashboard, handling it end-to-end from data extraction to result presentation.
• Proactively seek improvements in data handling and reporting efficiency through detailed analysis and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and data cleaning methods.
• Basic knowledge or aptitude to quickly learn SQL.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Retool, or Amazon QuickSight.
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and ability to work with imperfect datasets.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred: internship or project experience in analytics, healthcare sector familiarity, Python scripting for data automation, and proven capability to deliver recurring reports independently.
