Release Deployment Engineer

Overview

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Release Deployment Engineer with expertise in Apache, Redhat, DevOps CI/CD, and Splunk to support banking domain projects in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Requirements

• Deliver release deployment using Apache, Redhat Linux (preferably), and Cloudera Data Platform focusing on Apache NiFi (excluding HDFS).
• Utilize various source control systems including Git, Aldon, and BitBucket effectively.
• Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards and utilize monitoring tools such as Geneous and TrueSight.
• Work with container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift for deployment processes.
• Create, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and TeamCity for continuous deployment.
• Handle build automation through tools like Maven and Gradle.
• Set up and maintain SSL/TLS configurations for secure deployments.
• Understand release management methodologies and tools for smooth delivery.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with strong problem solving and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with vendor environments and data mapping is advantageous.

Domain and Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Red Hat Linux, shell scripting, and Java.
• Experience with Cloudera Data Platform focused on Apache NiFi.
• Deployment and data archival knowledge with Oracle 19c.
• Expertise in source control tools: Git, Aldon, BitBucket.
• Hands-on with Splunk dashboards and monitoring tools Geneous and TrueSight.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and TeamCity.
• Experience with build tools including Maven and Gradle.
• Container orchestration and management using Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift.

Additional Information

Ideal candidates have at least nine years of experience in the relevant technical domains with a strong ability to adapt to organizational deployment processes, specifically within the banking sector. The position requires resourcefulness and excellent troubleshooting skills to manage complex release scenarios effectively.
