Position Overview
The Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator specializing in agency recruitment to join their Recruitment Services team. This permanent full-time role offers a comprehensive salary package with the opportunity to contribute significantly to the District's workforce planning and recruitment operations. The successful candidate will be based onsite at an MLHD location negotiable across the District in New South Wales, Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for agency and short-term positions within MLHD, ensuring all activities comply with relevant policies, legislation, and Whole of Health Nursing Agency Panel guidelines.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal teams and external recruitment agencies, providing expert guidance on procedures, Awards, and legislative matters.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and the nursing and midwifery teams to evaluate workforce demands and apply strategic recruitment solutions for temporary staffing needs.
- Oversee recruitment processes, workflows, documentation, and training programs to maintain consistency, efficiency, and adherence to policy and Award requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding procedures for recruited agency staff, address challenges proactively, and promote inclusive and equitable hiring aligned with MLHD’s workforce goals.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must be versed in recruitment practices within healthcare settings, possess keen attention to detail, and excel in stakeholder communication. Experience with legislative and policy compliance in workforce recruitment is essential.

Additional Information
The role is classified as an Administration Officer Level 6 with a remuneration range from $86,896.63 to $88,951.42 per annum plus superannuation and applicable leave loading of 17.5%. The position requires 38 working hours per week.
