Role Overview

The Recruiter position acts as an adaptable, generalist talent acquisition resource supporting a variety of functions throughout the organization. Unlike specialized recruiters focused on a single domain, this role covers full-cycle recruitment across diverse teams such as engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and finance. It involves managing high-priority and novel hiring needs that do not fit traditional categories, requiring flexibility and agility in responding to shifting business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for a broad range of roles prioritized by the company, spanning technical, GTM, and general administrative functions.
• Shift focus quickly between openings as business needs evolve, collaborating closely with domain specialist recruiters to manage workload and take ownership of unique or newly created positions.
• Develop sourcing strategies for unfamiliar or unprecedented roles, crafting recruitment frameworks and processes where none previously exist.
• Work closely with founders and hiring managers to establish candidate evaluation criteria, interview processes, and adhere to strict timelines for each recruitment assignment.
• Create and maintain engaging candidate communication that aligns with the company's mission and fast-paced culture, ensuring an excellent experience from initial contact to offer acceptance.
• Maintain data hygiene in applicant tracking systems, monitor recruitment funnel metrics, and iterate recruitment methods based on outcome data.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced full-cycle recruiter with a demonstrated ability to successfully fill roles across multiple functions.
• Comfortable operating under ambiguity, quickly learning new roles and designing effective sourcing plans from the ground up.
• Possesses high initiative and adaptability to promptly pivot priorities in response to organizational changes.
• Skilled in sourcing with a genuine network and determination to build one when required.
• Analytical and process-oriented, using data such as time-to-fill and source yield to identify and resolve recruitment bottlenecks.
• Prior experience at fast-growing startups, preferably familiar with the New York City business environment.

Work Location and Compensation

This is a full-time onsite position located in the New York City office, designed for individuals who enjoy fast-paced environments, rapid iteration, and significant impact. The anticipated base salary ranges from 160000 to 215000 USD annually, depending on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Compensation includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package, details of which are provided during hiring.
