Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Ready Mix Driver to operate concrete mixer trucks and deliver materials to various commercial and residential construction sites. The role involves navigating challenging terrains and managing heavy extension chutes weighing between 30 to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply fully with safety regulations and foster a secure work environment.
• Ensure prompt and safe delivery of concrete to designated job locations.
• Adjust concrete discharge techniques to suit different site conditions.
• Attach and handle extension chutes precisely to facilitate accurate concrete pouring.
• Maintain the truck’s cleanliness and ensure it remains mechanically sound.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
• Collaborate effectively with dispatchers and team members for smooth operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Meet FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse eligibility requirements.
• Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record with no DUI/DWI in the past five years and no more than three moving violations within three years.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction and transportation sectors.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow supervisory guidance.
• Familiarity with local traffic routes and basic truck maintenance is advantageous.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Strict adherence to safety gear and protocols is mandatory.
• Work involves exposure to outdoor industrial settings with varying environmental conditions.
• Physical activities include frequent walking, sitting, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
