Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project cost control from start through project completion.
- Develop cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Handle procurement and valuations related to subcontractors.
- Negotiate contract variations and finalize accounts effectively.
- Create detailed commercial reports to support project decisions.
- Identify potential risks and commercial opportunities in projects.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- At least three years of construction industry experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts and commercial management principles.
- Excellent skills in negotiation, communication, and data analysis.
- Possession of a full Irish driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
- Membership or candidacy in SCSI or RICS professional bodies.
- Experience working with estimating software applications.
