Role Overview

The Consumer Goods Division focuses on delivering safe, quality, and ethically produced products, including apparel, footwear, toys, electronics, appliances, and furniture. The Operations department ensures all services meet QIMA's high-quality standards. As a Quality Inspector, you will report to the Inspector Team Leader or Operations Manager and be responsible for conducting on-site inspections of client merchandise in Colombo.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor emails daily to receive inspection documentation.
• Attend inspections punctually and maintain professional communication with suppliers.
• Conduct merchandise inspections according to company protocols.
• Oversee container loading ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
• Complete and submit inspection reports accurately and within deadlines.

Candidate Qualifications

• Holder of a college degree or higher in apparel or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in garment/textile quality management.
• Familiarity with AQL standards and applicable safety and quality regulations.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong professional ethics.
• Willingness to relocate to Colombo if not already residing there.
• Available to join within one month.
