Overview
ElectroClassy – S Tree Industries Pvt. Ltd., a company in the electrical manufacturing sector, is hiring a Quality Checker with 1 to 2 years of experience. The role requires meticulous inspection and testing of electrical products including switches, sockets, LED lights, wires, cables, MCBs, and other related accessories to ensure conformity with quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough quality inspections throughout all manufacturing stages: incoming materials, in-process, and final products.
- Inspect electrical components such as switches, sockets, LEDs, wires, cables, MCBs, and accessories for defects and regulatory compliance.
- Execute visual and functional testing alongside precise measurements following established operating procedures.
- Identify and report non-conforming items to the Quality Supervisor or Production team promptly.
- Accurately maintain detailed inspection records, quality reports, and related documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and relevant industry regulations.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Monitor manufacturing output quality to reduce defects and minimize rework.
- Comply with quality control protocols, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives geared towards product and process quality enhancement.
Essential Requirements
- Educational qualification: ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience of 1 to 2 years in quality checking or inspection within electrical manufacturing.
- Hands-on expertise with electrical products such as switches, sockets, LED lights, wires, cables, MCBs, and accessories.
- Experience working in a Quality Control laboratory environment with relevant testing tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with IS standards: IS 1293 (Plugs and Socket-Outlets) and IS 3854 (Switches for Household and Similar Fixed Electrical Installations).
- Capability to conduct visual inspections and functional tests aligned with BIS/IS specifications.
- Knowledge of documenting quality inspections, preparing reports, and executing standardized testing procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency to maintain records and reports effectively.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
