Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Role Overview

CITISCAPE, a frontrunner in landscape and infrastructure construction, is looking for a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to supervise and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards in various projects including landscaping, irrigation, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce QA/QC plans, inspection procedures, and documentation tailored to each project.
• Lead the QA/QC inspection team, guaranteeing all inspections and tests meet project criteria.
• Approve materials, inspection results, and test documentation after thorough review.
• Conduct internal quality audits, detect deviations, and initiate corrective measures.
• Collaborate with clients and consultants to address quality-related issues and obtain inspection clearances.
• Ensure equipment and material testing is performed by certified laboratories and that calibrations are up to date.
• Oversee subcontractors' quality compliance and performance in line with QA/QC standards.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of quality management systems and participate actively in ISO audits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or closely related field.
• At least 5 to 8 years of professional experience in QA/QC roles within landscaping, infrastructure, or civil construction projects, preferably in the GCC region.
• Mandatory or preferred certification in QA/QC or ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Training in Internal Auditing is an added advantage.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction-related quality standards and project specifications.
• Exemplary leadership abilities with strong skills in reporting and documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite and specialized QA/QC reporting tools.
