Role Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager position is a part-time role located in Dubai that offers a hybrid working model, blending on-site and remote work. The primary responsibility is to manage and enhance quality standards across various functional areas including accounting, tax, human resources, auditing, anti-money laundering (AML), and business setup services.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain QA policies and procedures.
- Conduct quality audits and perform thorough reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
- Monitor compliance with internal regulations and external regulatory requirements.
- Analyze procedural data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to apply corrective and preventative actions effectively.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality management best practices.
- Generate detailed quality reports for leadership to review outcomes and metrics.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to sustain consistent quality.
- Support incorporation of quality metrics within day-to-day operations and workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Substantial experience in quality assurance or management within professional services, consulting, finance, or compliance sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain comprehensive QA frameworks including policies, SOPs, and continuous improvement programs.
- Strong grasp of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to UAE or comparable regions, especially in fields such as accounting, tax, HR, auditing, and AML.
- Proficiency in process analysis, risk assessment, root cause analysis, and utilization of QA tools like KPIs, dashboards, checklists, and audit logs.
- Exceptional communication skills for preparing clear documentation, reports, and training content.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders and foster collaboration across teams.
- Well-developed organization and time-management skills tailored to a part-time workload with strict deadlines and quality objectives.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Quality Management, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines is required; certifications in ISO, Six Sigma, QA, or compliance add value.
- Comfort with digital collaboration tools and hybrid workplace settings.
- Experience working in the UAE or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region with knowledge of business setup and governmental procedures is advantageous.
