About the Company and Role
Target Engineering Construction Co LLC brings over 50 years of expertise in EPC and industrial infrastructure, with capabilities including in-house fabrication and marine projects. They are involved in large-scale energy, marine, and civil infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QC Painting/Coating Inspector responsible for ensuring that surface preparation and coating applications meet stringent quality standards, specifically within Oil & Gas projects. This role is integral to maintaining compliance with industry and project-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect surface preparation and coating procedures to align with project specifications.
- Verify adherence to QA/QC protocols and relevant international norms.
- Oversee environmental conditions during coating operations to ensure optimal application.
- Examine and authenticate coating documentation, inspection logs, and calibration certificates.
- Detect defects and ensure timely corrective measures are implemented.
- Liaise closely with construction and QA/QC teams to uphold quality benchmarks.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years devoted to Oil & Gas projects.
- Hands-on experience with diverse coating systems, inspection instruments, and reporting processes.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mandatory certification: BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector.
Skills and Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of surface preparation, painting, and coating inspection standards such as ISO, SSPC, and NACE.
- Capability to interpret and apply project specifications, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and engineering drawings.
