QA / QC Executive

Job Overview

The role involves overseeing the quality standards for fruits, vegetables, and other perishable items entering and leaving the warehouse. The individual will conduct daily inspections, maintain detailed quality documentation, and segregate products that do not meet quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough quality assessments on inbound and outbound perishable goods including fruits and vegetables.
• Execute daily quality inspections as aligned with company protocols.
• Document and maintain comprehensive quality reports for every product batch.
• Identify and separate any damaged or inferior-quality goods from the inventory.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards in the warehouse to ensure food safety compliance.
• Collaborate closely with procurement and operations teams to address and resolve any quality-related issues.
• Assist in training warehouse personnel on the appropriate handling procedures to maintain product quality.
• Engage in shift change meetings to communicate any quality issues to incoming teams.

Additional Information

This position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, requiring onsite presence. Remuneration ranges between INR 25,000 to 35,000 per month.
