Role Overview

The Project Specialist will provide comprehensive assistance to the Technical Manager concerning daily office and project operations. This includes partnering with management to plan, schedule, coordinate, and report on activities, ensuring projects and goals are delivered punctually and within financial limits.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer support and coordination for multiple projects, adapting priorities swiftly to meet deadlines.
• Arrange and schedule meetings according to executive and team availability.
• Monitor and manage tasks within broader projects, identifying possible risks, removing blockers, and escalating issues appropriately.
• Manage document flow, ensuring correct routing, approvals, and filing of finalized materials.
• Drive digital marketing and advertising campaigns.
• Collaborate with teams and content creators to produce social media content with writing, design, and creative inputs.
• Seek process efficiencies to minimize resource utilization.
• Provide administrative, project, and technological assistance to the Project Manager and team.
• Track budgets and grant allocations, maintaining accruals and preparing documentation for financial review.
• Diagnose PC and software problems, serving as a liaison to the IT department.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with relevant technologies including software applications, SaaS, embedded systems, IoT, AI, and cybersecurity products.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Excellent organizational abilities, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication capabilities.
• Demonstrates initiative, persistence, passion, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills

• Basic coding skills are advantageous.
• Experience with project management tools like Asana is a plus.
• Understanding of project management methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
• Competence in creating and managing social media and Google advertising campaigns.
