Role Overview
This position is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Ireland dedicated to overseeing fire and security projects from start to finish. The primary duties involve planning projects, allocating resources, managing budgets and schedules to ensure timely delivery aligned with scope and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee coordination of multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and suppliers daily.
- Monitor and mitigate project risks and issues while maintaining transparent communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed project documentation and reports to support project tracking and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company standards, and relevant legal requirements.
- Drive continuous improvements in project delivery processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven competence in project management including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors within technical or construction-related settings.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills capable of effectively managing expectations.
- Familiarity with fire and security systems or general building services along with safety and regulatory frameworks, or a willingness to acquire such knowledge.
- Skilled in project management software and productivity tools such as MS Project and Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, make decisions promptly under pressure, and work on-site.
- Educational background in engineering, construction management or related field; project management certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
- Experience in fire, security, or safety services sectors within Ireland or comparable markets is desirable.
