This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment. Coordination will be required with Product Managers, Sourcing, Sales, Licensing, Regulatory, Packaging, and other key departments to ensure smooth project progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the entire process of retailer-specific product configurations, including private label development, changes in pack size or count, club and multi-pack adaptations, exclusive SKUs, promotion-based configurations, and other retailer modifications.
- Plan and implement retail merchandising display solutions such as pallets, endcaps, sidekick displays, PDQs, floor displays, and other point-of-purchase fixtures.
- Act as the central liaison coordinating between Sales, Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Regulatory, and related teams.
- Create and maintain project schedules, oversee milestone achievement, and proactively address potential risks or delays.
- Manage artwork, packaging, and display specification compliance with retailer expectations, regulations, and internal standards.
- Coordinate product samples and licensor approvals from initial request through to product launch.
- Focus on enhancing and standardizing workflows related to recurrent product configurations.
- Collaborate with Product Managers on new product introductions involving retailer-specific settings.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of four years’ experience in project management, account management, or product/program coordination, preferably within consumer packaged goods, especially pet or household product sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing retail merchandising display formats such as pallets, endcaps, sidekicks, PDQs, and floor displays.
- Strong multitasking capabilities with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Superior organizational, prioritization, and cross-functional project management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills facilitating collaboration among diverse teams.
- Keen attention to problem identification and resolution to safeguard project deadlines and product quality.
