About the Role
A premier Tier 1 main building contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead efforts on a significant datacentre project located in West Dublin. The company holds a robust portfolio spanning Healthcare, Education, Residential, Refurbishment, Hospitality, and Commercial sectors. This opportunity is ideal for candidates currently based in Dublin or the UK with proven expertise in datacentre projects, particularly during the fit-out or internal construction stages. Candidates with extensive background managing large-scale building projects will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Site Manager and General Foreman, ensuring cohesive site leadership.
- Report directly to the Contracts Director and Contracts Manager with regular updates.
- Guarantee that the project adheres to its budget, schedule, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Have a minimum of ten years’ experience working for main building contractors within Ireland or the UK.
- Preferable to have prior datacentre project experience, especially at the fit-out or internal stages.
- At least five years in a Project Manager role overseeing building projects in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage and lead a sizable team.
- Capable of ensuring the timely progression of projects aligned with schedules.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary is negotiable based on experience, approximately between €110,000 and €120,000 per annum plus benefits.
