Project Manager

Overview

The Project Manager role involves overseeing governance, execution, and delivery of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) tooling and infrastructure programs. Collaborating closely with IT, engineering, and security teams, the position ensures alignment with business goals, reliability standards, and security requirements. This role balances strategic program oversight with practical Scrum Master duties within multifaceted technical settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the entire lifecycle of project and program delivery to enhance standardization, operational efficiency, and ongoing improvements.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional groups including DC-NiCON, DCS, FeP, SRE, and IT to track progress and handle interdependencies.
• Act as Scrum Master by leading Agile ceremonies, removing obstacles, and encouraging Agile best practices.
• Support governance councils by overseeing project prioritization, managing portfolios, and monitoring error budgets.
• Produce high-level dashboards and reports for executives, summarizing project health, sprint outcomes, budget status, and SRE service level objectives (SLOs).
• Develop and maintain all project documentation such as charters, comprehensive plans, risk logs, and schedules.
• Coordinate changes, releases, and deployments related to SRE tools and Infrastructure-as-Code updates.
• Manage communications with stakeholders for both new and existing initiatives.
• Facilitate the transition of services including proper documentation, training, and the preparation of operational playbooks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience managing projects and programs within technically complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability as a Scrum Master implementing Agile delivery frameworks.
• Possess PMP certification or possess equivalent project management expertise.
• Capable of working across IT infrastructure, networking, and security disciplines.
• Exceptional organizational skills with proficiency in data management, dashboard creation, and document control.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, Gantt charts, and reporting software.
• Outstanding communication skills, adept at stakeholder engagement and executive-level reporting.
