Job Overview

The company seeks a meticulous and experienced Project Estimator to join their team. This role involves preparing accurate cost forecasts, detailed quantity take-offs, and coordinating effectively with vendors to produce competitive bids and project budgets that support successful project completion.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create precise and comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects.
  • Perform detailed quantity assessments and cost evaluations.
  • Establish and monitor project budgets to ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Leverage industry-standard estimating software to enhance accuracy and efficiency in the estimating process.
  • Maintain and utilize historical cost data to inform project scope, pricing, and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience in construction estimating.
  • Proficiency in estimating tools including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within team environments.

Additional Details

This opportunity is based onsite in Gary, IN. The salary range is between $100,000 and $130,000 annually.
