Project Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead the coordination and successful delivery of a new headquarters development located in Mallow. This role involves direct oversight from the detailed design phase through to project completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the construction project.
• Create and revise AutoCAD drawings and technical specifications.
• Develop and track timelines for project milestones.
• Facilitate collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Solicit quotes and manage procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
• Supervise contractor activities and monitor site progress.
• Participate in site meetings and ensure follow-up on actions.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Building Services, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience managing construction or building services projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong competency in interpreting construction drawings and technical details.
• Excellent skills in planning, organization, and communication.
• Capability to manage multiple contractors and parallel workstreams effectively.
• Valid full driving license.
