Overview

The College of Professional Programs at Eastern Washington University is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator specifically for the EWU programs offered at Bellevue College. This role supports off-campus and online program operations, focusing primarily on the EWU at Bellevue College programs, while also assisting online students and other college programs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage program activities including special projects and logistical arrangements.
  • Provide comprehensive support services to students, program directors, and staff involved with Bellevue College programs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of complex program support experience working with students beyond entry-level duties.
  • Strong computer proficiency with at least two years of experience in various software applications including website development and maintenance.
  • Two years of experience handling both electronic and manual record-keeping systems.
  • Proven success managing high-volume customer service interactions (over 100 daily), including verbal, written, phone, and email communication with diverse stakeholders such as agencies, students, and professionals.
  • Ability to manage overlapping deadlines accurately, work independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
  • Commitment to providing universally accessible support accommodating diverse student, staff, and public needs.

Work Schedule and Conditions

Regular hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening and weekend hours may be required for special events such as receptions and graduations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $44,868 to $51,612 annually, with placement dependent on education, experience, and skills.
